Memes, procrastination, and a breif rant.
So...I'm procrastinating on school work by attempting to write my second round Metamorfic_moon fan fic. And I'm procrastingating on that by doing this little meme stolen from gilpin25, mrstater and quite a few other people as well.
Wearing: My burgandy Chior shirt and black pants. We had a performance today at a retirement home. Old people are such fun!
Hair: Medium thick wavy strawberry blond hair which is comptely unmanagable.
Makeup: none. I'm too lazy to put on make-up everyday. I wear it for special occasions only.
Ate today: A piece of ciabatta bread with cheese, a bag of smoked cheddar kettlecorn, a few bites of baby spinich salad, two pieces of garlic bread, a ceasar salad, two more pieces of garlic bread, and a chocolate cup cake. (I really shouldn't eat so much!).
Thing last said: "Good night you guys." Said to my room mate and her friends who generously shared their cup cakes with me.
Last phone call: My boyfriend
In your bag: phone, wallet, keys, a few napkins with story notes on them, candy wrappers, grocery reciets and pennys
Last watched on tv: Zoolander (It was a DVD but it counts!)
Plans for today: Take a shower, write a bit more of my fanfiction and go to bed.
Last thing bought: Dinner for me and my boyfriend as he's broke at the moment.
Listening to:My roommate talking to her friends (Dorm room walls are paper thin, even if I do have my own room and bathroom now. Yay!)
Last showered: Last night. I'm going to take one again as soon as I finish this post.
Looking forward to:Going to the Halloween vampire ball my anime friends are throwing. It should be fun!
Worst part of the day: Not being able to find any restaurant open at three pm and having to drive all over town. Ours is the only town I know of in the United States where everything closes at three and then opens again at five.
Best part of the day: Finding out I got a 99 on my Business project and finally coming up with a workable idea for my metamorfic_moon jumble fic.
Favorite person of the day: My roommate Rae because she gave a speech on Harry Truman (my favorite president), carved wonderful pumpkins for our front stoop and then shared haloween cupcakes with me.
Thinking about: My metamorfic moon fic and whether or not I'll have time to flesh out this "workable" idea or not.
Current annoyance: The fact that I can't draw and am therefor making a C in my drawing class. And the fact that I'm not happy with anything I write for my fanfic. I need to stop second guessing myself, or get a beta reader. Any takers?
Current obsession: I need to stop thinking and start writing.
Random TMI: Also need to do laundry. It's bad when you wear the same pants three days in a row. Even if they are jeans.
Feeling: Fairly content
Hearing: The silent sobs of one of my room mates friends who has had a very bad day.
In other news...Dumbledore is gay. I honestly don't understand why everyone, specifically the media is making such a big deal out of this. It doesn't change who Dumbledore is, or what he brought to the story. It's not even a pivoital plot point! It's an interesting character note. That's all. Does the tenure of the books change because there is a heroic homosexual character? No. Is Dumbledore any less wise because he is gay? Absolutely not! The sexuality of a character is of little importance to the story at all. According to JKR, Dubledore was gay long before the seventh book came out, and no one saw anything wrong with the stories then so why should it be any different now that this was revealed. It's barely mentioned, and even then, it is not overt. Bottom line...it's interesting. But it does not matter. In my opinion there are much more important things to discuss about the books aside from Dumbledore's sexuality.
