I have a dilemma as such. I'm stuck with what to do. I have my
mpregbigbang that I need to do and I had a brilliant idea for it. It was basically a 8th year fic in which Draco and Harry still have a shaky relationship (in the sense that Draco still doesn't like 'Potter'), but a fight turns into a shag and hello, pregnancy. And then they'd have to deal with trying to get along because of the baby. And I was going to make it extra long. Like 80k long.
The problem is this. I just found my old
mpregbb from last year that I didn't end up finishing and it's 55k. It's one of those cliche 8th year creature fics (that admittedly, I adore). With the increase of uni work because of the semester coming to an end (or nearly, there are 6 weeks left and then big exam time), I was considering using that story and just fixing the many grammer mistakes and finishing it.
And now I don't know what to do. I can either write a completely new story and risk it not getting done due to the my muse going into plotty mode (which it does often and I never get it finished because my muse throws in TOO many twists and turns) OR I can use my old story and finish it and fix up the mistakes. It's eating me up because I have so many ideas running through my head for the new story, but I still remember how I was going to finish the old fic as well and it's so close to being finished.
I guess it should be obvious what I should do...but it's still a hard decision. I suppose I could always write the new one later on, in my own time and with no time limit. I really need to start doing my uni essays earlier then what I have been doing lately...
