Who knows? ...if anything, I'd consider Grady an even worse enforcer of the law than the police I've worked with back home.

[He pauses, in deep thought.]

Oh, he won't. Not at first, anyway. But if we manage to prove ourselves as... capable officers, he could end up giving us a lot more leeway. And assuming the rest of this force he's evidently just hired isn't full of slack-jawed dullards, perhaps we could co-ordinate an investigation from within. Again, it would take time to actually find an opportunity to, but believe me. Every police force has their weak spots. I'm sure we could find something.
