Opinions On...
Abortion: I am pro-choice. No matter how careful you are, things happen. It should be the woman's choice whether she wants to keep the child or not. I personally think it's a much better option than having a child that you can't care for, and adoption is a really hard thing for the mother and the child to go through.
Same Sex Marriages: I'm for it. I believe we seperated church from state a long time ago, so why is this still an issue? It's not stated anywhere that marriage can only happen between a man and a woman.
Drugs:Well, I've honestly had my problems with this one. Name a drug, and I've probably done it, but my main problem was cocaine. However, I'm over that, and most other drugs. I say most because I still drink sometimes and I strongly believe that alcohol is a drug. My advice to anyone about drugs is, try them if you must, but don't let yourself get carried away, and that's a lot easier to do than you might think.
Religion: As a child I was forced to go to mass every Sunday, and to go to catholic school for 6 years, and ccd when I was finally allowed to go to public school. Having religion forced on you sucks, no matter what religion it is. I also think that people are not as well informed about religions other than there own and this is leading to a lot of problems around the world. Islam is a very peaceful religion, it's just the radicals that go nuts and blow people up.
Abstinance: I applaud anyone who can do it. I sure as hell know I can't. A lot of teens are really pressured into having sex when they aren't ready. I lost my virginity at 16 and I don't think I was ready for it. Plus, I've seen a lot of friendships torn apart due to sex, and being a teen is hard enough without those worries, not to mention the worries of std's and getting pregnant.
The War Against Terrorism: I used to be all for this war, but more recently I just think that we're taking things too far. Innocent people are being harrassed and murdered for something that only a few people should be punished for. I want to feel safe, don't get me wrong, but I think everyone should too.

true story: a friend of mine was driving back to NH from Mass on the Mass Pike when she got pulled over by a cop. When the cop approached the window, she said to him, very sarcastically, "Are you here to invite us to the policeman's ball, officer?" He looked at her and very seriously, in a deep, stern voice replied, "State cops don't have balls, ma'am." After the cop realized what he said, he got back in his car and drove away without giving her so much as a warning.
