My First Entry

Hello, my name is Joe and this is my first Live Journal post. Is that not amazing?
I'm not really sure about this yet, so this could possibly be my last post, who knows!
Anywhoo, for those of you that don't know me, which is most if not all of you happy web surfing people my name is Joe, I'm seventeen years young and I live in the South Wales valleys. Up until last month I was a lazy sixth form student at Ebbw Vale comprehensive school. Now I do absolutely nothing during the week, but I have a part time job at the weekends. I'm the guy that takes all the crap from customers when their stuff breaks down, it's not always pleasant, but hey, I get paid for being there!
Results day is steadily approaching, and to be honest I'm not looking forward to reading my results slip. I did not work towards my exams, I knew what had to be done, but I failed to do it, no revision!! I think my results are out August 19th, on that day I will decide my future, either I have succeeded in which case I shall be heading off to Cardiff university in September, or I will have failed, in which case I shall be returning to school for another year. I don't cherish the thought of going back to school, but at the end of the day, I want to be successful in life, Cardiff law school is where I want to go, and Cardiff law school is where I will go!
The great Chinese philosopher Confucius once said "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall"
Anyway, that's enough about my failing opportunities, other than that my life is pretty good. Other than the financial difficulties I'm facing, do'h!
I get paid monthly, but for some strange reason, I end up spending all my money within the first week, then I'm broke for another three weeks! Most of my money goes on fuelling my car, learning to drive is great, no one mentions the costs of running the damn thing! I have decided that from now on, I will use no more than one tank of fuel a week! I can no longer afford it!
I'm leaving now, theres something on TV I want to watch, but I'll leave you with this months words of wisdom, "Don't talk about it, be about it" If anyone out there knows what that means, tell me, because I haven't got a damn clue!
