You did so extremely well, even I can't find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don't. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you're not afraid to use it properly! Way to go!
Thank you so much for taking my test. I hope you enjoyed it!

I need to start updating more regularly... but really, what's the point if no one reads? It'll always be nice to look back on in the future, I guess.
On the love front, things are spectacular. Amazing, even. I'm more in love than I ever knew I could be. It's cool as hell, man. This is the happiest I remember being in a long time. Well, ever. I'm not even going to attempt to put into words how much I love him because it's impossible. I guess if you understand, then you know how I feel... but at the same time I really can't imagine anyone knowing exactly how I feel, and honestly I guess it's just one of those special things that's just for us and no one else to understand. Everyone has things like that, right? Right.
On the academic front, things SUCK. Winter '05 was officially my worst quarter ever. I got an A-, B, C, D+. I thought I had an A in the bag for Linguistics (the B class) because I got a 50/50 on five of the quizzes, a 43/50 on one, and a 46/50 on the other. I turned in all of my homework and assignments and got full credit for all of them. I must have seriously bombed the final.
Hearing Science (D+) is by far the hardest class I've ever taken. Speech Science that I had fall quarter was really hard, but I ended up with a B because we actually had ASSIGNMENTS. The Hearing Sci prof didn't cut us any slack whatsoever. The only grades were three tests... the class average for most of the tests were in the low to mid 70s, so you can imagine how EFFING HARD IT WAS.
I was expecting a B- in Anatomy, (the C class) because I had Bs on both the tests going into the final. Half of the final was going to be material from the other two tests, and the other half would be new material, most of which was over the anatomy of the inner ear which is one of my stronger points. The tests came straight from the study guides in the book, which was nice, but when we've covered four chapters each with more than a hundred terms and concepts to understand and memorize, that kinda sucks. Especially when he only puts like 60 out of 400 on the test. GAH.
I have a better feeling about next quarter. I'll be taking Language Development, Anthropology, Basic Audiology, and CPR. I'm most nervous about the Basic Aud class, but from what I hear it's "better" than Hearing and Speech Science classes. Mostly about administering (did I spell that right?) audiological tests, reading spectograms, all that shiz.
I'll be so glad when I'm done with next quarter. Even though I wasn't technically at home (in Portsmouth) for my whole break, (I was in Proctorville at Andy's) I felt so at home. When I'm not there, that's where I want to be. Before Andy, if I wasn't in Portsmouth, that's where I wanted to be.
I'll be taking classes at ousc in the summer and fall, which I'm really, really excited about. I like Athens and all, but I feel so much more at home and so much more at ease at the southern campus. Classes are easier, professors are more understanding and friendly, and there are so many people there that I've missed. Also, Ironton is the perfect halfway point between Proctorville and Portsmouth.
Yeah. In case you can't tell, feeling at home is definitely way up there on my important things list.
