If someone says "Hey you, let's head out to a Javelina Roast", you'll know you're in Stephenville. Visiting Kim at Tarleton was definitely an interesting cultural experience, complete with a barn dance, s'mores, and towns you wouldn't know were towns if the speed limit didn't change. They also have whole buildings for fields like "Agricultural Engineering" and then one building named "Humanities", which would, obviously, include English and other Languages, History, etc. etc. It makes my liberal arts eyebrows raise a bit, I must say! That and the school has 15 times the number of students we have at SU...
Zelda is going well; I'm currently stuck in the Dark World trying to figure out how to get to the evil guy in what used to be the desert palace. It's pretty sweet.
If you haven't played Raquetball and your school has courts you can use, totally do it! It's sort of like tennis, but you don't have to spend a billion years chasing the ball and you can still get a good workout. Megan and I are pretty much the best at it after our two sessions. I think we only swung and missed every third time. Fourth maybe?
At the end of the week half the semester will be over. HALF A SEMESTER! We're getting old.
