I didn’t wake up early enough to make breakfast, so I just took the carrot I bought to eat as we walked to the station. I continued to try to get COVISE to work, but the same problems as the day before occurred. I tried to install another version of COVISE to see if it would work, it didn’t. After lunch I decided to give up on installing COVISE and to started working on installing a computer with two operating systems.
At first I accidentally over-ride the Windows XP already on the computer with rocks, so I had to go back and install Windows XP again. Then when I went back to installing rocks I kept getting suck at the same point. Ichikawa-san came over and told me that rocks wants to over-ride Windows XP, and that I should try to install CentOS instead. Following his advice I was able to install CentOS easily. Then I started to download the necessary files to install covise on this dual booted pc. Once again, after successfully installing COVISE, it would not run. After some help from Kuwabara-san and Ichikawa-san, they determined that the Linux system and COVISE was not compatible. Ichikawa-san recommended that I download Fedora 7 and download the respective COVICE program. At that time it was already 9 pm, and we all decided to head home. Kuwabara-san and Ichikawa-san left with us, and we chatted some on the way home.
At Senri-Chuo Ichikawa-san left the subway with us and we said goodbye to Kuwabara-san. In Senri-Chuo we decided to eat ramen for dinner, but Ichikawa-san couldn’t eat with us because his girlfriend was waiting for him. The ramen shop had kimichi which was quite yummy; I ordered a hime set, which came with half ramen, gyoza, a hand-rolled sushi, and penne-cotta. Simon and Phillip order the same combo of ramen, fried rice, and gyoza expect they each got different soup bases. I enjoyed my meal, it was good and just the right amount of food. However, Simon and Phillip had a little trouble finishing theirs. I ended up finishing Phillip's. After we left Simon told us that he over heard a group of guys debating what race we were. I thought that was kinda funny.
