I'm all moved in and stuff. It's weird. I also have a real paying job instead of one where I volunteer to stand for seven hours and have people not suck entirely but be somewhat annoying depending on the night. Occasionally they're flat-out intolerable. I'm never working a hockey game on St. Patrick's Day again. Bad idea. I can walk everywhere and now that I'm a legal adult I can sign my own forms. I feel independent even though I'm only semi-independent. I'm not living at home but I'm still financially dependent for now, especially if I ever want to march DCI. I have made friends who I can hang out with during work. It's cool. One of them is a shopping buddy since she doesn't feel like going alone.
Also, I was walking to MARTA and one of the hobos stopped me. I didn't know he was homeless, he looked like he was taking a break from changing a tire or something. I try to avoid homeless people who ask me for money. They're annoying. Anyways, he talked softly and I couldn't understand him and told him I had hearing problems and couldn't understand. Then he fingerspelled to me, which was totally unexpected and made me a little happy so I gave him the dollar just because he'd brightened my day a little bit with knowing the alphabet at least.
