Other Examples
1.
Crop your image. If you have an image with a lot of white/light colours, it will probably end up looking like my last example image of Gerard Way. If you have a black and white image, with some tweaking it will look like Coffin Joe [the first image] and for dark images or images with a lot of black it will probably end up like Faris in the second image. I've chosen a dark image with some pretty dull colours.
2.
Saturation Level: +38. You only want to enhance your colours slightly. If you're working with a slightly more colourful image, then you may want to reduce the number. Play with it until you get a subtle result.
3.
Next a Selective Colour layer.
Reds
Cyan: -100
Magenta: +88
Yellow: +100
Again, if you have a lot of reds in your image, then make sure the reds are not intense to the point of distortion. Make it as red to your heart's content.
Neutrals
Cyan: +92
Yellow: -16
4.
Another Selective Colours layer.
Reds
Cyan: -100
Magenta: +6
Yellow: +24
Only do this if your reds aren't bright enough. If you think they are, then forget this step.
5.
A curves layer.
Blue
Input: 162
Output: 191
Set on an Opacity Level 50%
6.
Colour Balance layer.
+60, +63, -20
And you should be done.
If you have any problems, let me know. I generally recommend you take out the second selective colouring layer because it can make the reds to intense.
