Today's news in the World of Kat:
I need a new battery for my laptop. Hmph. Apparently it's been recalled - if you bought a MacBook Pro between February and May 2006, you are most likely eligible for a new (free!) battery. It should be here in 3-5 business days.. I'm quite excited, as my battery isn't even recognized when I turn on my computer. Hopefully this new battery will rectify that problem.
In Other News...
Had an awesome weekend. Watched a ton of X-Files and went to dinner with guys from Tim's work.. and then to a dude's party. I don't think I've ever been so wrecked in my life, haha. When I say wrecked, I mean wrecked. It was good fun though. He works with insane people.. not literally mind you, but crazy all the same. Nice guys... but a little on the wonky side, haha. At dinner, I've never seen so many shots being taken.. haha. A guy cut off his finger at work, so the boss took everyone out for dinner on the company credit card. Well, the boss didn't actually go, but gave the credit card to some other guy. The total bill was just under 700 bucks. Apparently the limit was only 500.. oops. Haha.
So yeah. I guess that's it. I live a pretty boring life. Haha. Oh, February 19th is Value Village's 50% off sale, in case anyone's interested.
In Concert News...
1. Tool's coming back to Ontario! They better come back to Toronto! They're playing Copps Coliseum in Hamilton.. they have to come back to Toronto! I'd love to see them again, they blew my mind the first time.
2. Incubus postponed their February 2nd show until May.. too bad it's all sold out. I'd have loved to go. Oh well. Maybe next time.
