Thesis Sept 14 - Muddled
Internal Dialogue:
What has been getting in my way of writing…
The biggest black hole for my work is the Internet. I get online while I am working and things don’t get done. The most frustrating is looking back on a chunk of time and not really knowing what happened. Only knowing I had planned to do some specific task and during that time was ambiguous, no real sense of what was gained.
Shifting gears to leadership
Working Thesis: Students who serve as leaders of other leaders on a college campus have a more developed set of leadership skills. They will understand individually/group/~~~ or full (7 c’s) more completely. Secondly schools with a developed leadership program have more developed leaders.
Where things are going:
After reading Social Change Guidebook; I hope to start to crafting my reasoning for the survey.
-I could probably use articles that talk about experiential leadership experiences to help defend my position.
-I need to figure out what I am going to do with the “Encyclopedia of Leadership”
-I just need to keep reading articles and not end up walking around!
-I need some good solid definitions of leadership (look for them in the Social Change Guidebook)
Tomorrow: Write based on the guidebook (so I need to read it all today at some point)..
