And most of it comes from the fact that the be-compromised Secret Santa authors were revealed last night, which means I can finally brag about my gift in person. That’s right, I got one of the most awesome fics ever as a present, and if you think I’m using hyperbole, I’m not. It has everything I’ve ever desired in a fic. Clint gets turned into Sleeping Beauty. How is that not the most awesome thing you’ve ever seen? Thank you, jacedesbff!!!

5 Times Natasha and Clint Kissed + 1 Time It Produced a Miracle by jacedesbff
Inspired in large part by the impromptu kissing challenge of yore. Pretty much exactly what it says on the label, but there is car trunk kissing, and banter, and it is wonderful, and you all need to read it right away and shower her with praise.
Stuff I Did
Rascals, Scoundrels, Villains, and Knaves
Tortuga, 1745. It’s been three years since they last sailed together, but when an old enemy resurfaces and takes one of their own, it’s up to the crew of the Avenging Angel to assemble and take to the high seas once more. Or: the one where everybody is a pirate except the two canonical characters with eyepatches. Drink up me ’earties, yo-ho. Yes, wrote a pirate AU. It’s really long because I worked on it during Nanowrimo (and blogged about it a lot) and because when an idea grips me, I really can’t write a short fic about it to save my life. The idea actually spawned a prequel and a sequel, but I’m not sure if I’ll write either. Anyway, it’s really long, so perhaps you’d prefer to read it in its ebook form, which is available here.
Banners!
I did 32.5 banners for the pre-reveal stories, which were a lot of fun (it means I’ve seen far more of Scarlett Johansson than I ever wanted to, though *grimace*) because it meant I got to see the titles of fics my f-list were receiving, and I got to go and figure out if those fics were happy or angsty so I could use the proper banners. I think, for the most part, I got the mood kind of right? Maybe not, but it was fun, so that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

In other exciting news, I’ve started posting RSVK to AO3 and FFN for archival purposes (and also because some of my friends are afraid of livejournal).
And, excitingly, I’ve got a slew of new ebooks ready to go at my blog (yes, I turn my long stories into ebooks with covers and proper book formatting. I’m kind of a nerd). You can download them, if you like.Also, I’ve compiled all of the stories and fanart into a single ebook for the entire challenge, but I still need to add authors and fix the Kindle version (the epub version is easier to do, for some reason), so once I talk to the mods, look for that to show up.
Okay, bragging over and done with, for the most part.
