When I woke up this morning ... I was in a pretty good mood. Ready to embrace the day and all...and then I turned on the radio ..."If I lay here, if I just lay here, Would you lie with me, and just forget the world.
Forget what we're told, before we get too old..." snow patrol, chasing cars. I stopped walking and went into this bizarre mood...angst time. I went back to reading stories with Jack/Sam love...I'm a shipper. I visited my favorites sites and authors with their LJ: Annerb, splash the cat, gunhilda and of course Rowan (I must have forgotten a few...but those are amongst the best writers in the fandom)..and on Rowan LJ... I just saw this: http://rowan-d.livejournal.com/170989.html ...in it some I think it was Lab-rat said that Rowan's comments reminded her of Snow patrol..chasing cars. And that's true. Jack/Sam are chasing time...So now, my mood has improved a bit because I realized that I'm not the only one feeling funky because of this song...So now, I can't get rid of this song in my head and I'm still into Jack/Sam angst but with a happy ending...If you know any (recent or very old because I've read many fics over the years), please let me know...
