On and off again
Well, I did make it in for OXIST today, but I had no energy at all, and did little more than scull around and talk to people. I think yesterday was catching up with me in my currently enfeebled state. It was nice to wander into Oxford with a few people for a coffee afterwards (at Starbucks, since G&D's has alas decided to close for a fortnight over Christmas), but I was wilting and more than ready to come home after an hour or so.
So that was my last skate of 2007, and now I'm going to be off the ice again until at least next weekend (longer if I don't start feeling better by then - whatever else happens, I want to be back in some sort of shape in time to go up to the British in Sheffield in ten days time). Don't think I'll be going into work this week either - what a good thing I got "Dancing on Ice - the Live Tour" and "The Cutting Edge II" on DVD for Christmas!
