Solution #5
I used solution #5 today. You see, the toilet in the basement was leaking a bit and after an inspection I determined it was the bolts linking the tank to the bowl that were the problem. So, buy stuff, try to remove the old ones ... try again ... try some more ... figure a way ... call for help ... try again ... nope. Solution #5 is when you just say "screw it" and break the thing that's causing problem. The problem is not solved, but it's no longer relevant. Sooooo, now I need to buy a new toilet and install it. Good side of the story is, the rusted bolt is now in the trash.
