Ah, yes. Hello!
I figure I should probably post something being that I haven't for, ooh, over a month. Oops!
I'm still alive people, I've just had a lot on my plate what with work and social crap of the highest order. That is all pretty much sorted now though thankfully. Is mostly private though so I'm not going to talk about it on here in any public fashion.
I'm up and down, but managing to cope and I have really learned to appreciate my friends lately. Lets just say I wouldn't be around right now if you hadn't helped pull me through with hugs, chocolate and extensive ranting sessions. Thanks guys, you're all awesome!
On a slightly related note, a rather random thing has just happened to me. Just saw a picture of Alex (aka Twat Face) on Facebook. My god it's wigged me out. It's like this kind of weird mix of all those old feelings of fondness along with a rather healthy dose of terror. Haven't even spoken to the little weasel since Christmas '05. It's strange how even just a picture can produce such an extreme reaction in me. Heh ^_^;; I feel really weird. In a way I kinda miss some of the people back home. I know they stopped talking to me because I'm 'boring', but they were still, some of them, quite big parts of my life. I guess with all the re-evaulation of my life I've been doing lately I've become a little nostalgic. I was so sure of how my life would pan out then, and actually, this is exactly how I thought I would be ending up, but it feels different somehow. Very strange. However, when I do become the crazy cat lady I will force all of you to come over and look at them all. Epecially the one called Tiger, who I think is adorable, but scratches everyone within a 50 foot radius! :P Hee hee
Anyway, in other news;
1. The course is going okay, but not amazingly which sucks. However, I found out this morning I passed the exam I thought I did shit in. (I still did shit in it, but not as badly as some people).
2. I am ill, again. ¬_¬ Thankfully on the road to recovery though. Have had the evil lurgy of evilness, complete with ear infection, lost voice and now eye infection. Joy!
3. I have been invited out on Friday to a place called the QI bar. I reckon it sounds really cool, mostly because it's a bar specifically tailored for intellectuals. They even have a bar section specifically for Vodka. Can't remember exactly how many different kinds they have, but it's around 10-15. You even have to be a member for some things. Needless to say I am giving the £75 a year serious consideration.
4. In relation to the above I am attempting to buy a new dress, however I don't think red is really in at the moment. Sucks quite a lot, but eh, I don't really go in for fashion so it's kinda expected. I'm gonna trawl round the boutiques tomorrow, as well as getting food seeing as I have none.
5. I am buying an assortment of travel books and I'm gonna start planning my trip round ole Britannia once the semester's over, so if anyone has any places round the UK that they particularly want to visit let me know. Although the trip is my own adventure I would still like some company! I'm not so good at the whole alone thing. *hint hint*
Righty, I must be off to shower seeing as I'm cold and unclean. Lol (which reminds me, it snowed again today!) Have got chores to do and need to watch a movie before tomorrow. Ugh! So I bid you adieu.
