01. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Er, directed a play, something which I'm going to repeat on nearly the same days this year, bring it Miss Brodie. Broke my nose, while not drunk in a playpark. Cried in front of people for the first time since coming to uni. Stayed away from home outside term time for the summer.
02. How did you see in the New Year?
Preparing to have my first Hogmanay with the family rather than friends, which is in some ways amazing, in other ways depressing.
03. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Don't think I did. Well maight have kept one about being more independent and standing up for myself. This years is the "No bitching" pact with Claire. We WILL become nice lovely rounded individuals.

My ex-auntie (used to be married to my uncle) had a baby boy this week.

ORGANISATION! More of a direction to my life. More hobbies.
08. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Breaking my nose in the playpark was fun, as was the 3 and a half hours in A+E afterwards. My birthday was really nice, as was the party we had over summer. Oh and MUSE!

Passing exams despite all expectations to the contrary, living away from home, directing a one act play, performing in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and Fur Coat and No Knickers.

Not making more new friends, not that I haven't made new friends, but I want loads of acquaintances. Not talking to my flatmates from last year.
11. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Think that's been covered. Apart from the constant nose bleeds I had for three months after.

Muse, Scissor Sisters and Placebo tickets, all totally different atmospheres in the same venue.
13. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
My Lovely, lovely flatmates, all of them from the past year - Clare, Caron, Paul, Sophie, Kira, Dave, Joe, Chris, Calum, Corinna, Rachel, Claire and Alex. All for being so individual yet so universally lovely.
Kim for her chats, they are muchos needed and appreciated.
Ros for being consistently reliable to be fun.
SUDS for being good people.
The folks at the Bowling Alley, the first job where I've had fun for most of the time I've been there. Or don't really begrudge going in.
And my old arraners, who I've realised will always be friends no matter how little we see of one another.

Blooming eck it's not been a good year for me reading. Probably a toss up between Yes Man and A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby, which I so want there to be a stage version of.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Regina Spektor, just the most amazing lyricist, I think I love her because some of her songs have shades of musicals to them. CSS, just pure unashamed party music. The Knife, for being childlike and sinister in equal measures. Hot Chip, Panic at the Disco, the sounds, guillemots, Howling Bells.
27. What did you want and get?

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Hmm. Yes, rather. And I'll probably say organisation again.

I miss the big ass group of us who should be staging war on Whiting Bay hall tonight, and the bunch who are going to be inn James' and Club Noir tonight

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
You think you got it all worked out, but you don't know nothing, nothing, NOTHING.
Sucking on my titties like you wanna be calling me all the time.
I still think of you on cold winter mornings and it reminds me of when we were at school.
