Oh the memories...
Was just reading over my LJ posts from the last 6 months or so...quite amusing in hindsight. Realised I havent made a post since that one about my new lesbian friend, so here is a quick update.
Life has been fairly busy recently, partially uni work, mostly an overactive social life. I was drunk, or at least somewhat tipsy, every weeknight of last week. Not healthy really. Fun, but not healthy. My usual social circles have morphed into roughly three regular groups - people I live nearby, one or two I know from school and uni and the rest I have met through those people. Then there is another group I know pretty much exclusively through a couple of uni friends. Then there is the handful of schoolfriends who do law, and their friends who do law. Strangely enough, while I have made a fair few individual friendships through my own degree none have really led to a new social circle.
In other news, I had a weird and inexplicable crush on a girl in my accounting class for a few weeks. I am not entirely sure how to explain why - essentially the one or two things I first found out about her were eccentric, like the fact she has a pet turtle. When I bothered taking the time to get to know more though, she lost her mystique and I got over it :p The only other acitivty on that sort of front was a stupid night on my part, getting cuddly with an ex. Most of you who are actually interesting in that element of my life have heard the story, so I wont bother repeating it.
My trip over to the US etc has been pretty much sorted. For the interested parties:
Arrive in Denver on the 31st of December. Staying with James and co for a couple of nights, then going travelling with family.
Arrive in San Fransisco on the 11th of January. Will probably be staying with Molly at her college. Yay floors.
Arrive in LA on the 18th. Staying hopefully with Taric and....thingy (I know your name! I am sorry! It starts with M! I think!). Leave LA on the 22nd for Bolivia.
My time, especially in LA and SF, is fairly free at this point in time. If there is anyone who lives nearby and has suggestions and so forth, do let me know. Meeting people is always good, even if Kerna lost all respect for me after she did :(
