(no subject)
Wow, so I slept in today and really have to get ready for work. So, quick list of things I have done recently:
- stayed up late Wednesday night rockin' the Shireinu with my sister
- went to see a student-produced film with Abbie
- went to Shabbat under the Stars and college student dinner at my old synagogue. Led songleading afterwards with Sampson (as I have decided - finally - to name my guitar. Suits him, doesn't it? He is too big for me)
- lots of work. One lady at work tells me I am pretty at least three times an evening. Another lady always compliments how I do my hair, regardless of what if looks like. I waited on one group of people who asked how old I was and when I told them said, "I thought so. You seem too sophisticated to be a high school student" which is a huge contrast to the usual "Really? I could have sworn that you were fourteen! Did you hear that, Morris? She's nineteen! Boy, you had me fooled." Enjoying work, and really I think I am pretty good at it at this point. I have the three tables thing down. I even did five during lunch yesterday. When the first seven top sat down, Tia (another waitress) told me to get it because "You are the best waitress we have" - this is obviously not true, but it was fun that she said so.
- I am tired.
- I need something to do tonight. I called Stephanie, but she wasn't there. Anyone want to do something? Abbie is away.... I saw David last night, Stephen is away...
