Hey peeps! I'm doing a research paper sort of thing for English, so I was wondering if you could answer these questions. You can write back or repost as a blog; I'll see it either way<3 Thanks muchly
( Read more... )
1. Creamated then scaterd somewhere of my choice (Haven't thought of where yet, should probably get on that)
2. Yes, I'm not using them so why let them go to waste. Just make sure I'm fully dead, none of this "well he's in a coma and MAY never come out" no, fully dead.
3. I want it to be filled with stories and laughter, not saddnes (though I guess that's unavoidable) a little light music even. When people talk at it they tell embrassing stories that will make everyone laugh. And the funeral march will be "Who wants to live forever?" By Queen.
4. Elizabeth Hayhurst
5. "Who wants to live forever" By Queen, and "Closing time" by semi-sonic
6. They may wear what they like (Though black may be nice for my mom's sake)
7. Probably not, just not my thing i suppose.
8. I'd be ash so sure why not.
9. I really don't care, but for my mom's sake it'd have to be traditional Catholic mass, she just lost her son I gotta give the poor gal something.
10. I hope to not have a funeral for a LONG LONG TIME.
Death does become scarier if you stop believing in God. *nod* If it helps, I find it comforting that because we all learn from each other, we are bits and pieces of those who have passed away and bits and pieces of us will live on through others. If that makes sense. Like, my Nana who passed away taught my dad to make scrambled eggs, and he taught me. So, whenever I make scrambled eggs, Nana's living on. Even the littlest of things like that, you know? There's a song that goes, "if I will love then I will find that I have touched another life...and that's something worth leaving behind." So that's how I make my peace with it.
By the way, excellent song choice. Thank you so much for answering:-)
Thanks! I'm surprised, actually, at how many people want to be cremated and then buried. Any reason? (As opposed to traditional burial, or opposed to scattering ashes.)
I want a place that my family (assuming I had any that cared at that point in my life) have a place to commeorate and remember me. But, fullbody burial is an extremly large waste and hazordous to the enviornment (The chemicals in embaum)
Your icon IS PERFECT! My roommate hits snooze for about 2 1/2 hours every morning and it drives me nuts!!! I have only hit the snooze button maybe once or twice in my life (can't stand it)...I'm SO sending your icon to her. :)

2) Totally, yes.
3) What Cameron said - stories, laughter where possible.
4) Lindsey Gosselin
5) Let it Be
6) What they like, really.
7) Well, freezing's pretty unconventional. I dunno.
8) Sure, why not.
9) For Lindsey's sake, yes.
10) Again, what Cameron said.
I just accepted that I'm an atheist pretty recently, so death's a pretty terrifying thought at the moment.
