Slashgiving at
lovelypoet's was fabulous. Every year we have it, it is always exactly what I want and hope for it to be, and getting to have that means a lot to me. This year we roasted a whole turkey, after Katie wrestled the legs and neck into submission, and the DVD marathon consisted of about two thirds of the first season of the most recent Dr. Who. I did not get to buy a Cobra Starship presale ticket today. However, I will have faith that there will be enough tickets available regular-style to go around. Tangentially, can I just say how delightful it is that I have now seen more than one person on my flist go My Chem, eh - FOB, feh - COBRAS, YAYY! When Katie and I were standing in line outside the Fillmore in September to see TMBG, we spent some time discussing which Decaydance band would have the most staying power, and I thought I was joking when I said Cobra Starship, but perhaps I was more right than I knew...
