Thank you so much, Genee! I am thrilled that the pacing worked for you, and the ending also. I started this draft so long ago that it's hard to feel like it's really done (and it didn't even turn out very long after all), but your kind words make me squee. ♥

This was lovely. The everyday nature of it and things evolving in such a natural way, but ending in that abrupt manner with AJ seeing.

Thank you very much, Terri! I'm delighted that the progression felt natural to you - I was a bit concerned about the pacing so this makes me very happy. ♥

Eeee, Brian/Howie! ♥ I loved this so much. Everything about your writing is so graceful, and there's so much unstated emotion in every little snippet of interaction. And poor AJ. Rather bittersweet, and lovely!

Thank you very much! I'm so happy you liked it, and I'm especially glad that AJ came through like that for you, because that was really important to me in how I was thinking about the story even though it never goes to his POV. I really appreciate the kind words!

oh my goodness! soso gorgeous. i loved how wandering the pace and focus was, and how you didn't change pov but the camera angles shifted on and from each person that came in to shot. brian was so quiet! this is fun and new.

Thank you very much! I'm really glad that the pace worked for you, and I have to say I love that film-y description of it, too, so thank you for that also! \o/
