So this past Saturday I got see afterthefair and lovelypoet, and it was delightful and awesome. Also delicious, because we all ordered the same thing at Mel's!
Cristen gave me Pretty. Odd. burned to disc because she is a fount of generosity and I am a short, sad dinosaur who could not download it, and, newsflash y'all, it is incredibly awesome and energetic and melodic and I love it exactly as much as I knew I would, which is to say, a lot (""). My favorite at the moment is Mad as Rabbits, but it is all 100% love! So many thanks! (Also Cristen learned the hard way that if you cause me to think deep thoughts about Panic band dynamics and the sometimes vexed relationship between fandom and academia while I'm driving, you may get a more extended tour of San Francisco's scenic neighborhoods than you first expected. She met this turn of events, and lack of turning of the car, with great poise however.)
But that's not even all! I also got beautiful Fi!art delivered by Katie, and now I have the gay eye of Sauron propped up on the music holder of my keyboard until I get some hanging gear together. And all joking aside, it is full of beautiful colors that I just want to soak up visually. Thank you, Fi! ♥ yay!
