they did a good job on this one

I would like to recommend the Wicker Park soundtrack to all of you who might appreciate it. Now i can't speak for the movie, i didn't see it. I don't really want to- i don't know what it's rated and it didn't look all that great. The only reason why i might have an inkling to see it is because i heard one review say that it was a modern say Vertigo (with James Stewart- and all Harvey Danger fans have just started singing Carlotta Valdez.) of course, i don't know if it is an intentional remake of that movie or whether it is said to have some accidental similarities. i just don't know. if anyone saw it, did you like it?

Take a look--

1. Maybe Tomorrow - Stereophonics
2. Everybody Is Somebody - Lifehouse
3. A Movie Script Ending - Death Cab for Cutie (acoustic version)
4. How to Be Dead - Snow Patrol
5. Lover's Spit - Broken Social Scene
6. Retour A Vega - The Stills
7. Flowers in December - Mazzy Star
8. When the Day is Gone - The Legends
9. When I Goosestep - The Shins (rare non album track)
10. Light Switch - Jaime Wyatt
11. These Days - Mates of State
12. All I Do - +/-
13. We All Have a Map of the Piano - Mum
14. Against All Odds - Postal Service (rare non album track)
15. Strange and Beautiful - Aqualung
16. I Know You Are But What Am I? - Mogwai
17. The Scientist - Johnette Napolitano & Danny Lohner (exclusive)

I mean, c'mon... any mix with Death Cab and Maazy Star you KNOW has to be good. I have to say that it was the Postal Service's Phil Colins cover that made me buy it. Too, the last song is a cover of Coldplay's The Scientist. I listened to the whole thing today and all i know is that it made me happy.

When i was in Border's they decided to play all of Postal Service's Give UP, which i understand to be a regular thing lately but i just... oh i just miss my CD so much. I couldn't leave the store until song #6 - i wanted to keep listening. If only i could just remember who borrowed my CD *COUGH SOLOMON* then maybe i could return to my old-happy-Postal-Service-listening-self. pity me.
