Rating: K
Word Count: 150
Notes: 150-word challenge.
It’s a cliché, but that’s why he loves it. Holding hands in the rain with Sirius, he feels cold and uncomfortable in his wet clothes, but also almost unbearably free. It unnerves him to think that in moments of freedom you can do anything; with Sirius, though, it’s a gift to have all this space, and not a curse upon a curse. His wolf stirs within, displeased at being thought of unpleasantly, but it knows it restrains him. There are many things Remus cannot do, and it’s the fault of that bite; but in Sirius’ arms, he can forget in the pouring rain as their lips smash together, smiling and serious simultaneously. The rain cools his cheeks, and Sirius’ hands warm them again. It’s a cliché, but that’s why he loves it, and with his lover’s arms around him he cares nothing for the cold he knows tomorrow will bring.
