Meetings!
We had our little meeting to introduce the kids who are going to America in August to conversational English yesterday afternoon. It was technically two hours long, but L and I were only in charge for about an hour. Overall, I think it went well- we basically covered most of the stuff we wanted to cover, we just didn't really get to practice any of it. But two of my girls actually came about an hour ago and asked me a question about one of the worksheets we handed out, so it seems like they may actually use them, yay!
Then L and I trekked across town to meet G and S (who's a new ALT in a town further north) for dinner. Originally this was a party to get the two halves of Tamamura together, but both of the other ALTs canceled, qq. It was still really fun, though! Then I went home and talked to my parents for the first time in a month, because they just got back from their 33-day ~European Tour~. My mother totally got to watch Nadal and Roddick play (though not each other) when she went to Queen's with my aunt and cousin, so jealous~
In other news, Vancouver, really? Really? WTF. o.O
