Roll back the clock to the dawn of time, and sing this song with me.
So the wedding was lovely.
My sister, of course, started crying before it even started. XD The reception, though, was AWESOME. The band was great, and there was a ton of dancing. It was interesting, since it's the first wedding I've been to in a long time, and the first I've been to where the people were even close to my age. I actually knew most of the groomsmen, since they were my brother's classmates, and also a lot of the guests, who were siblings of those people, either elder or younger, or other classmates. It was a wicked awesome party in general, though. It got pretty drunk and disorderly after a while, though I didn't end up going to the after-party. I'm not quite old enough to fit in with that whole crowd, since they're mostly at least four years older than me, so I didn't actually go to school with any of them. ^^; The regular party was still great fun, though! My whole family got to dance together. ^^ We met a bunch of new and awesome people, too.
On the other hand, I'm never going outside in New York without bug spray ever again. The mosquitoes there LOVE ME. At one point yesterday it looked like I had the pox, I tell you no lies. >.> Also, I got cut by a piece of glass when somebody broke their wine-glass (though luckily you can't even see the mark now). And I got a car sunburn on the way back. THAT made me feel like a smart-one, let me tell you. ^^;; Still, wicked awesome times. And Lake Placid is way more interesting than I realized! They've had the winter Olympics twice, in 1932 and 1980, though I shudder to imagine how crowded it was in 1980. ^^
In other news, I HATE EVERY ONE OF MY FRIENDS IN VANCOUVER. *hides from the internet* Make sure to post all your important information outside of your MGS-spoilery cuts, okay? And just tell me one thing- did you like it? Or what? *is afraid*
Tomorrow, I wake up wicked early to take my mum to her MRI, so... pity me. XD
