Last night I finally managed to see Sin City....well, it's one hell of a stupid movie. I mean, visually funky, some funny things, beautiful women everywhere, but God! Why? I know that's taken from a graphic novel, but that doesn't justify its being so bloody pointless. And the violence....do you think that's violence? It made me laugh 99.9% of the time. I kinda got the impression that the movie was relying only on the names of the actors involved(Bruce Willis, Rutger Hauer, Mickey Rourke, Benicio del Toro etc etc). One thing I loved and I will always love: Miho character, the Japanese sword wielding whore, interpreted by Devon Aoki. Jesus she's hot and funky! and kicks ass! I love her love her love her to bits. I also liked Gail, the uber whore of Sin City....but the rest of the movie is - sorry guys- rubbish. I was quite disappointed....Maybe it's me getting used to certain stuff but I have to say that I felt completely disconnected from the movie(and I actually did something I never do, even when I'm watching movies at home like last nigth: I got up and made myself some tea, such was my interest in the whole flick). I'll surely watch it again, but I have to admit my defeat: I think it was utter crap.
Ieri sera finalmente sono riuscita a vedere Sin City..beh, è proprio un film stupido. Voglio dire, fiquo visivamente, c'è qualche pezzo divertente, un sacco di belle fanciulle ovunque, ma santo Dio! Perché?? So bene che è tratto da un fumetto ma questo non giustifica il fatto che sia senza senso alcuno. E la violenza...credete davvero che quella sia violenza? M'ha fatto ridere il 99.9% delle volte. Il film mi ha come dato l'impressione che si basi solamente sui nomi degli attori coinvolti(Bruce Willis, Rutger Hauer, Mickey Rourke, Benicio Del Toro etc etc). Una cosa, però, m'è piaciuta e mi piacerà sempre: il personaggio di Miho, la zoccolina giapponese dotata di katana, interpretata da Devon Aoki! Gesù, è gnocca e fotonica! e fiqua! La amo la amo la amo da morire. Mi è piaciuta pure Gail, il mega troione di Sin City...ma il resto del film è -scusate- monnezza. Ci sono rimasta anche abbastanza male. Forse mi sto abituando a certa roba, ma mi sono sentita completamente estranea al film(e ho anche fatto una cosa che non faccio mai nemmeno quando vedo i film a casa,come ieri sera: mi sono alzata dalla sedia e mi sono fatta un tea, per quanto ero interessata al film). Lo guarderò di nuovo per certo, ma devo ammettere la mia sconfitta: penso proprio che sia una cacca completa.
