First day of school!
Today is my first day of school in my sixth year of UTA. Today I woke up at 1000am. I think my one and only class on Mondays, Tuba Ensemble at 430 to 530, is canceled. This makes me happy as it means that all I have to do at school is try and get a parking pass and see if I can sneak into a 330 brass techniques class that I should have taken five years ago.
But mostly, it makes me happy because I hate tuba ensemble.
However, this late-waking ecstasy will be short lived when I find myself in my first math class since the Fall of 2000... at 800am!
Rainy Day Update:
Bad
- Tuba Ensemble is not canceled and I do in fact have to attend a class today.
- I got a voicemail from my lessons teacher that said "we have to talk." What does that mean?
- The parking sticker line was almost 2 hours long. I bailed.
Good
- Reading in the hammock with an iced tea is still a favorite past time, even (no, especially) while it's raining.
- I will most likely be employed by Calloway's Nursery by the end of the week. I sure hope so!
