double-plus happy fun birthday weekend
So Saturday was my birthday. Here's how I spent the weekend:
- Friday night dinner at Hungry Mother with the parents
- Saturday afternoon derby scrimmage with surprise bonus apology, and ego-boosting
- Saturday night dinner at love+butter in their new space (AMAZING, as always)
- bonus time with coraline after dinner
- slept until noon Sunday
- Sunday afternoon derby practice doubleheader (outdoors - still not sure what I think of that)
- Sunday night OMGUDLBBQ!
There may not have been a huge party in there anywhere, but it was a damn fine way to celebrate #33.
