Oh yay! I LOVED this! I'm grinning so widely right now, I must look like a dork, but I don't care. :) I love the banter you have between them, and the care. I adored Welsh noticing the kiss and kind of being weird but ok with it (all that time in closets, it makes you wonder!).

This made me laugh out loud: “It’s scratched, Benny. It’s definitely scratched.” Aw, the Riv!

And this was just heartbreaking: You didn’t want me to go and shoot my mouth off at him? Well it worked, Benny so you can wake up now, right?”

There was no answer from the bed.

Oh, Ray.

Thank you, thank you!

Thank you. Hee yeah I've never done a Welsh finds out before so it was fun to write.

Ah the Riv suffers so and therfore Ray too.

Oh, Ray.

Poor Ray, he does worry about his Benny. He does care so.

Thank you, thank you!

My pleasure I am so glad you like it.

HEE! This was so cute. I felt so sorry for Ray when Benton wouldn't wake up. I wanted to wrap him up and tell him everything would be okay.

The "kissing better" scene was so sweet. Welsh's reaction was fantastic. And this;

“I imagine he’ll stay away from the closet.”

“Well, you must be feeling better if you’re making closet jokes.”

ROCKED. I can totally see Fraser saying that. ♥ Thanks Aingeal!

Thank you! I did put Ray through a bit poor guy. He needed a hug in this one.

I really enjoyed this piece. It was very well written.

I loved the banter, especially this: “They may not have realised they scratched it, Ray, and if they did I’m sure they would have apologised.”

“Not unless the person who scratched it was Canadian, Benny.”

“Ah. Point taken.”

This struck me as incredibly funny! Fantastic.

This was excellent.

Loving, affectionate, funny in parts, great banter (as always), good tension, wonderful characterisation, and really nice too how the hit and run driver wasn't an out and out baddie, that worked so well.

Love Welsh's reaction - it's how I see him behaving.

And I had to chuckle at Ray's line about letting Benny tell him an Innuit story if he woke up.

Excellent. sdwolfpup is very lucky.

Glad you enjoyed it and glad I got all that in there. I didn't want an out and out baddie, it didn't seem to fit with the tone of the fic really.

Yep I can imagine that reaction form Welsh and it nice to write that for a change.

And I had to chuckle at Ray's line about letting Benny tell him an Innuit story if he woke up.

And I am sure poor Ray out of guilt mentioned this to Benny again and sat through the whole thing.

Excellent. [info]sdwolfpup is very lucky.

:-) Thank you. :-)

Oooh, I liked this very much -- it's lovely. Lots of good dialogues! Welsh was so nice in this and the use of RCW139 made me chuckle. The flashback about aspirin was sweet too!

Ray had kissed Benny's forehead as he had drifted off to sleep.

Love the image!

"Six months sir."

"And 20 days,” Fraser added.

*grins* SO Fraser! Thanks so much for writing and posting!
