I'm getting very very frustrated with sellers on eBay trying to scam people.
I have been trying to get The Little Mermaid on DVD for /months/ now.
I finally have the money for it, so I find one that looks like a good deal, AND the seller says in the auction that its not an import or copy. Cool. I buy it.
When it arrives, I notice that the insert and cover art have been printed. Poorly I might add. -_-; The DVD itself is real, but nothing else. If all I wanted was the DVD, I could have saved a few bucks buying on Amazon. So I email the seller and he refunds my money.
I bid and win on another one. It was 7 bucks more, and again, there is nothing mentioned that its bootleg or copy. Well, it came in the mail yesterday. I have to give the seller credit, their printed cover looks better than the other one. But the DVD is EASILY recognizable as not authentic. 2 things stand out: the colors are off BAD (the water is GREEN as opposed to being BLUE) and on the back of the DVD, its not laser inscripted with the words, 'little mermaid dvd'
So now, I site with 2 Little Mermaid DVDs...one real, one not. One with better printed cover art, and one not. I just emailed the 2nd seller.
There should be a rule or distinction required for DVDs that says they have to be listed as 100% authentic. ><
*sigh* I will send the one back I have to ... but man, I am never buying Disney DVD on eBay again. Anyone have Mulan I can buy off them? lol
