Sometimes I swear life cannot get much more hectic…but oh it can.  Stephen is home, got in 2 days before Christmas, and I absolutely love every second of it. A lot of my friends from home got to meet him after New Years.  It definitely makes life a lot easier just knowing he is home.  Strangely enough, I am getting my work done and I think I am doing much better in school.  Instead of spending time talking to him online or the phone instead of doing my homework or studying, I just do it while he is here….and sometimes he can even help me out.  However, I am still not really playing hockey because of the MCL.  I started gearing up again last week, but I know I am not going to get any time in for the rest of the season…which playoffs are this weekend (down at URI).  But that is okay I guess, there is next season, and this summer I just have to work really hard to get back to where I was.  Also, I am now playing lacrosse here too for the women’s team.  I am the goalie (as usual).  With my individualized goalie practices, and the reg. practices (which overlap hockey a lot) I really think I am going to do good.  Always loved lacrosse, and now I have the honor to play here after never playing….I really do like it here despite the strictness.  I am playing hockey and lacrosse, loving most of my classes, great friends, and Stephen is home.  Yeah, I have to write a zillion papers a week, but it will pay off when I am in grad school for sure….

So spring break is in 15 days….in 17 I leave for Cancun to spend a week there with Stephen.  Stef, Maria, Matt and Waylon are coming too…so that is going to be awesome, and Stephen and I have our own suite, so it’s a semi private vacation when we want it too…but I am sure we will be with everyone else most of the time.  As of last Sunday, we had reservations down in Orlando, but decided it would be good if we went with the other 4 to Mexico.  Booked the flights and soon I will be back in Cancun basking in the 90 degree sun.  What a life huh?

The next thing on the agenda is finding a house or apartment for next year.  It was going to be just Stephen and I, then 2 of our friends, then it was getting a hockey house going.  We looked at one apartment, which was really cute, but we have to start getting more options.  I cannot wait to live off campus and live with Stephen too…so yeah, things are going well and I am wicked happy with how things are going…except physical therapy every day, which I am going too now…
