(no subject)
Ok my new life plan...I am still majoring in Psych, but now w/ a minor in secondary ed. I will get my BA, then teach while I work towards my Masters/PhD in Sports Psych. That way I have a steady income to help pay for Graduate school, and if in the end I dont want to teach, I will have a PhD to open my own practice, or just teach and do Sports Psych on the side and summer. Good Deal. Also decided that I want children, maybe 2, meaning i would marry someone with the same views as I. Not for like 8 or so years, but I read this chapter in my psych book the other night and it really made me think of the meaning of family. I told my Mom and brother 2nite and they both laughed and said "for the love of God, do not have kids." I have said since at least 6th grade that I didn't want kids. Who knows, its all in the future.
Washington DC was so much fun, of course had many many laughs. However it was the ghetto, and scary men try to seduce me in elevators...yuck. The flight was really good, I can't wait until I fly again--2 more weeks :) But we drove 10 hours on Sat night after doing the whole Monuments touring. Then yesterday I helped Stef and Mom A set up all the pool furniture then vacummed the pool...good times in a ski jacket in May
I'm home tonight, brought some things from my room back. Did a 5 page paper this morning before I had to hand it in at 12 as my psych final, then drove 4 hrs. Only 3 more exams, then its all the fun. I still need to find a job for the summer though...I cant wait until Steve is home, we have so much to do and so little time.
