A new beginning
So here I am, sitting in my dorm room on this muggy Saturday morning at Castleton State College in Vermont. Just got in from doing community service- I volunteered to be a help with a soccer practice for the special olympics. it was a lot of fun, and i think I will go help out every Sat morning. The people here are really nice, and I have met some really cool people so far. My roommate is really nice, and I have met 3 other ppl in my suite so far. 2 of them are in the same room together and are good friends...soo got invited to a party down near Okemo tonight, but dont know if Im gonna go. I have lunch in a lil bit, gotta meet up w/ James, then we have some more SOS groups and have to meet the author of our summer reading book, then dinner, and a candlelight ceremony at 9:45...then party i guess if Im not toooo tired. I am kinda sad about being away from everyone back home, but I know that a new beginning is good. But im questioning myself a lot as to why i need a new beginning...i guess it is just a time in my life. i love everyone back home, and i know this isnt going to be easy. I will be coming home for Labor Day weekend, i think Friday i will stay down at RIC to visit Sam Ant, reid, and whoever else. Then my parents are havin a party on sunday,, so whoever is still home should come down. welllll im out to meet up James.
