Not to pull your halo down around your neck and pull you to the ground...
Saw Spiderman 2 last Wednesday with Janelle and Missy. Had good time. Janelle ate (which is a very good thing) and she bought a dress at Gap (strapless, which is a HUGE step) and a skirt at Old Navy. I have to work at 6, but we had a buttload of fun while we were together. While I do prefer college in every single way when compared to high school, I miss hanging out with some of my friends. Being able to just get together spontaneously. But now we have to plan, and make sure work doesn't interfer, blah, blah.
Spiderman was fantastic. I may not be entirely objective, but it was wonderful. I love Tobey. = D
Ate lunch with Jenna and Danielle at Panera on Saturday. That was lots of fun, too. Jenna has school year round in Chicago, so I haven't really been able to see her a lot. = /
Old Navy is sucking what soul I have left out of me. Don't get me wrong, I like work. I don't mind working at all. It's just, every single job I've had is repetitive, boring, menial and pretty much pointless. What's the point in folding the same flat of shirts when you're just going to have to do it three more times before everyone can leave? Yesterday just sucked. I had to work with one of the FESs (Front End Supervisor) I absolutely can't stand. She's annoying, self-righteous, constantly talks about drinking and being hung over and going out to bars and whatnot and she thinks she's better than everyone else. I just can't stand her.
Even though my job frustrates me, I was still extremely annoyed to find that this week I only have 11 1/2 hours. Six and a fourth came from yesterday. I don't work tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. But, turns out that's not at bad as it sounds since I'll be babysitting my niece Wed, Thurs and Friday while my brother and sister-in-law pack up their belongings as they prepare, once again, to move away.
