When we finally got to Barcelona, we found an awesome hostel, it had free internet, we got our own private room, and it had a kitchen (saving us tons on $$$). We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the heck out of ourselves. Hi guys, Haven't you heard about siesta? Italians do siesta. Most everything closes for that. Did you ask if it re-opens in the late afternoon/evening? If you want cheap sleeping rooms in Italy ask for pensiones (penceeonas) They are your basic sleeping rooms clean and cheap. Also, be aware that the Italians eat their main meal at noon/1:00pm and eat a lighter meal about 7-8 at night. DO NOT eat at the primo restuants. They are very expencive and you don't get much to eat. Dad and I found that if you eat at what looks like a hole in the wall resturant the prices are better, the servings are bigger and the food is delicioso!!! They are fam8ily owned and much friendlier. have you seen the catecombs yet? verry interesting, you really should. Why would you NOT go to the Da Vinci show? Are you that tied to a schedule? I thought you guys left room for stuff like this. What a shame to miss it. Hope you get to see Trevi Fountain where Three Coins In The Fountain was filmed. Also the iter where the Roman soldiers marched into ( ... )
