Feelin' Funky
So... english classes are quite different from philosophy. we got to do a 20min writing exercise where i wrote a short poem. every student introduced themselves and mentioned whether they had a background in theory (it's a theory class). philosophy is only theory. so i let them know i have an extensive background in theory, but not necessarily literary theory. i think i'll drop it. it's just not what i was expecting. and the books i read to get ahead, yeah, don't even need them for the class. all the articles are online. great. i could've been reading my philosophy book to get ahead, but no. whatever. teachers should really be more organized.
if i drop it though, i need to get into something else. hopefully, my work will let me take another 2 hours off to take a different class.
anyway, another aerobic class kicked my butt today. kickboxing. and i get to attend without being actually signed up. saving me $250! heck yeah!
