Yesterday some of my family's pack came to visit! Usually we get to go for a car ride to see them, but this time they came here! Well, all but one of my cousins, I wish he could have come, but Aunt Sara (my daddy's sister) said that Grandpa (my daddy's daddy) wouldn't let him come. So it was just my Aunt, Grandpa, Great Grandma, and Lil Pup Daisy (my cousin that did come) that came over.
Hehe, the night before mommy and daddy stayed up until the mid-morning hours cleaning for their arrival, Lady ChaCha Kitty and I helped out of course, though cleaning can be tiring and I admit that I may have dozed off once or twice. But wow! Now there is actually room for me to run about in the office room where this computer is! As well as not so many tempting things laying about for me to chew on... its a hard habbit to break, especially with such interesting things laying about to sink one's teeth into!
Back to the visit though, Mommy and Daddy cooked lots of yummy food for them, which I got to eat too -tail wag-. Daddy cooked burgers, hot dogs, and sausage brots out on the grill while mommy made mild spicey mashed potatoes, green beans, pastacio desert (aka Watergate Salad), and cantalope balls. Everything was full of the scents of cooking food! Ohhh how I love this grill thing that Mommy and Daddy brought home the other day! It makes such wonderful smells and food! I was outside with Daddy for a bit helping him out with my cousin Lil Pup (aka Daisy), she's a chiwawa-weener-dog mix and looks like a little miniature version of me (only with shorter fur and not as pretty). We had tons of fun playing in the yard while daddy cooked... I mean, helping Daddy cook.
After everyone stuffed themselves full we all sat around all lazy like, such a wonderful feeling! Mommy and Daddy petted me on one couch with Grandpa while Lil Pup sat with her mommy, Aunt Sara, and Greatgrandma on the other. I admit I was so relaxed that I must of nodded off once or twice. After all of that Aunt Sara, Grandpa, Greatgrandma, and Lil Pup had to go home... I wish they didn't have to, I love having so many people around and Lil Pup is totally fun to play with, ahh well. That's when Chacha came out of hiding, she didn't like all the noise and fuss everyone was making and remained under the blankets on Mommy and Daddy's bed until everyone was gone. Silly kitty! She's not one for much commotion, but she can still be fun at times, at least for me. Mommy and Daddy seemed wore out by this point and we had a nice relaxing evening together. I love my family.
