People who die in the desert don't go to heaven but go to the sea

This is what I've been mainly listening to all of the past week:

Liz Isenberg - People Who Die In The Desert
'This is my mother's pen and she's twenty again kissing boys on the porch
This is my mother's pen and she's twenty again kissing boys in the backyard
Hope you're happy 'bout the way things are, hope you're happy 'bout the way you think things are'

Liz Isenberg - You Will Love Me
'Just relax, it'll come, either way, it'll come, if you want it or not, you will love me....you will bind me up, up, up up'

Classically trained bassist goes 'living room folk' with her loop pedals, I've written about her before, she's got an album of general loveliness called Seaport Seeport Seaport.

My cellphone died, shitshitshit. Not only am I without a mobile now, I've also lost all my numbers including all people from LJ whose numbers I've got, people I met on various gigs and some musicians' numbers were in there, too. Great, just great, if I died tomorrow nobody would know who to invite to my funeral.
