...and apparently not only those in Manchester.
Seriously now, I've been in my school's drama department for years now and now our current teacher's having a baby (gaaah), so she can't teach at the moment. Instead of spreading us among the other courses or hiring a drama student as a part-time teacher (this is a university town, dammit!) they told us that they can't find a new teacher for us, so we're having art instead. ART!! I thought I finished art forever last year and was damn well happy about it. I'm not artistic at all and I hate being forced to do something I just can't and don't want to do. Leave art to the artists, is that so hard?
Some of the people in the drama course already have art though (I've got musical theory), so we'll be getting these marks as our drama marks at the end of the year. What the fuck. I have an A in drama and I'll probably be getting a C if not a fucking D in art and it's gonna look like I suddenly started sucking at drama. This makes me so incredibly angry, you don't even know. Who lets people that make such decisions run a school?
Two great things happened today, though: One of our English exchange students, Jacob, said my English was {quote}fantastic{/quote}. Yippie. (By the way, my arrogant cunt of an English teacher gave me an A+ even though he hates me, hahahaha, there's just no way around it, I guess.)
I also went to the bookshop you saw in one of my earlier posts, the one with NERD graffitied on the wall and saw the (trademark) Best Looking Bloke In Göttingen, Matthias. He's at Uni and works there part-time and he's gorgeous. Oh my heart, my weak little heart.
