FELLOW KNITTERS, help!
I'm looking for suggestions... because now that I did a swatch and tried out the beading and found the perfect needles, I'm all set to start the scary shawl (tm), aka my first real lace project (This one, in case anyone's interested).
Now, in order not to go completely crazy with yo, k2tog, psso and, especially, BEADS (dum-dum-duuuuuuuuuummmmmmmm), I'm looking for a simple project I can do on the side when I need my sanity back.
Any suggestions? I'm NOT looking for:
- socks
- pure stockinette or pure garter stitch or pure ribbing, as that would be insanity too
So what I'm looking for is something like, say, a cardigan or a jumper with an easy pattern that's quick to knit.
I'm looking myself, of course, but I'll take any suggestions. Maybe something will be just right *G*.
