Calming Down

Well, the parking garage thing is mostly fixed. I skipped yesterday because Joseph didn't set my alarm right and I decided once I was late for my first class that I might as well not bother with Drugs and Behavior, since it's chapter 1 and easy reading anyway. The bitch-prof just reads straight from the book anyway. It's not like I missed anything important.

*crosses fingers*

Yeah. That's been my luck lately.

So my classes seem to be all good so far. Forensic Psych (also referred to as Psych and Law) is a very good class. I think I'm going to learn a lot in it. We'll be going over a lot of case studies of insanity defenses and such. Awesome shit. Personality Psych, I've got the Professor that sounds dead up like Kermit the Frog, and he kicks ass. For Drugs and Behavior and Experimental Psych I have the Bitch-lady. She's really rude to students and will berate a student for laughing in class...and at something SHE said, nonetheless. Plus, she just regurgitates material from the book in a tiny monotone voice. The only time she gets loud enough to actually hear, she's yelling at a student. The TA's seem to have a better grasp of the material than her. And then of course I have Dr. Lora Haynes for Social Psych. She's the techie teacher from last semester stats that I thought was gonna be horrible, but ended up being one of my favorite classes. She's very funny, and she tries to make things easy and interesting. I look forward to being in her class--as well as having those open book, open note tests--again.

Heh. Better times. Wonderful.

I work with Brittany tonight.
