So, I guess I will fill ua all in on how the days have gone so far. Well, I have been sticking with it all really well. Thursday night I went out to Lake Reba with Zac. We managed to walk for a mile and a half and then run a half mile. I am really really proud of this. Do you know that I never thought I could run a half mile? It was hard times for real and I was panting like a crazy dog in heat, but I did it. We planned to be able to run the entire fitness track at lake Reba by summer. Sadly though, I was talking to my brother on the phone yesterday, (can I add that he lost nearly 150 lbs in the course of a year on the world's best for you diet ever) and he told me I should not jog anymore for awhile. He said that he had read an article saying that if you were more than 30 lbs overweight you would risk long term injury on your knees by jogging. Guess I might have to wait till next summer to do that....
I have stuck to eatting healthy pretty well. I accidnetly skipped breakfast on Friday but that was only because I almost overslept for class. But I did remember my water bottle. Then after my first class Garry and I went out for lunch, it is our weekly little date :) and I forgot and ordered a Mountain Dew out of habbit. Shame on me, but I didn't drink bout about half. We went to Tsing Tao and I got plain Lo Mein and Crab Ragoons. Not terrible I think. Only ate half of that as well becuase I got filled up real fast. Then went to class again, then took Garry grocery shopping with me. Yet again I was proud of myself. I bought nothing but healthy things to eat. I honestly did not get one bad thing. I did have to get 1% milk, but that is only till I can work down to skim. (YUCK) Then I took Garry back to campus and went home, unpacked the groceries, played with my new mp3 player I gout to work out with, and got ready for work. Worked my ass off a usual, and came home. Now, dinner I fucked up on a little. I didn't eat until 1 am this morning. BAD. But I really was not hungry earlier in the day from the filling lunch, and didn'thave a whole lots to eat all day anyway so I was starving. Esp. after being around fast food all night. But I ate a bowl of some bran flake/dried fruit ceral in the 1% milk. Not bad, but not at a good time.
Shew! I am getting windy. I regret not working out yesterday too, but I had a real busy day and was on the run a whole lot so maybe it helps. I guess that is all I have to report for the moment. I just need to be real careful and eat at decent times and I think I will have this.
