the fog is clearing..... ?
First week back was pretty good. I auditioned for and joined Women's Chorus! I am so excited that I'm going to be singing again. The director, Dr. Silvey, is a really cool guy. And, hopefully I'll meet some cool girls who are similar to me. In rehearsal on Friday we started learning a song by singing it in solfeg first, it was really scary... but it'll help me catch on quickly. Speaking of music, I'm so freaking excited: Kim gave me the Wicked soundtrack tonight. I'm gonna be a fan, i'm uber excited.
This weekend was a little questionable. Too much partying for my taste, since it was the first weekend back I saw 1 girl pass out and get taken by the ambulance (didn't actually know her) and a guy throw up and then pass out in bed b/c he was so drunk. I wish college kids weren't that stupid. But, the weekend wasn't a total bust, I did get to go see Annapolis with the girls (and alvaro). It was pretty good, and a lot of buff boys.
I think I've *almost* come to a conclusion about the camp/crutchfield thing. I think I'm going to spend one more summer at camp, but work the 3 weeks before and 2 weeks after camp at crutchfield, plus pick up some saturdays. That way, the boys at c'field don't forget about me, and I can pick up some extra cash and work my butt off. I'm excited, I really do want to do both and this is the best compromise I can think of right now.
Well, I'm pretty excited about Spring Semester and what is coming up for me. Oh, and please pray (or whatever) for my kitty Leo. He's really sick right now-- it's probably something neurological but the vet ran tests and can't find anything specific. He's really lethargic and doesn't get up and walk around except for about once a day. I am so scared for him, I love my cats like none other. =(
