I watched half of this pretty horrible movie last night. It was called something like "The Name of the Rose"--I'm not really sure. I could look, but I'm too lazy. Anyway, it starred Sean Connery and it took place in Italy, I believe, during the inquisition period. Basically, the plot seemed to revolve around a young monk having sex (I think--it was a sin, at any rate) with some gypsy-looking woman. There were also some murders. And a Greek book that Sean Connery was obsessed with. Who knew? Sean Connery can read Greek! Amazing. I was a little confused as to the plot, but I missed all of the important points. Anyway, it was pretty disturbing. I hate those inquisition movies. They're just gross. Luckily they didn't show any torturing. I've been scarred ever since I watched that Spanish Inquisition movie with Jeffery Combs.
Poor Jasmine had a rough time yesterday. My neighbors are getting their roof done. She was on edge all day, because they were pounding down shingles from about 9 AM until 7:30 PM. And they're still working today. The way she was staring, petrified, out my door, I thought there was a burglar. Poor kitty.
