This is my yearly PSA... go vote, and vote responsibly.
If you tell me that you didn't get a chance to vote, I will personally make it my responsibility to kick you in the shins the next time I see you. I will make sure I leave a bruise, too.
I'm going to get preachy, here. What exactly does it mean to vote responsibly? It is incredibly important to know what you are voting for, and why. I know way too many people who base their voting on what a union endorsement ticket tells them, or how many signs are posted in people's lawns on the way to the polls. To me, this is just unacceptable. For most of us, this is our chance to actually have a voice with what is going on in our community, instead of just bitching about the end result.
