Bar circus...and other random thoughts
So, I have to register to take the bar exam before November 15th. In order to open, print, and fill out the forms, I need to get a hold of Microsoft 2000 or Word97. I haven't checked the library.... perhaps their systems are slightly more outdated than mine. I also looked at some of the forms.... it looks like this is the beginning of fifty different hoops I have to jump through. I'm sure it won't be THAT bad, but it just seems like a lot. Not to mention, it is going to cost me money. Ick. I suppose this is all worth it... One of these days, lawschool is just going to be one very distant bad dream that I chose not to remember so well. As much as I love school and class in general, I'm really, quite ready for the real world at this point.
Slew of Random Thoughts:
My friend Jess is going into labor tommorrow. It's about damned time she has that kid. This will be the second one, of the four that managed to get knocked up this year.
I'm making a thanksgiving dinner for twelve people or so.... feel free to send any good recipes my way, since this will be the first big huge family meal that I'll be tackling on my own....
Hmmn. Other things. For a few minutes tonight, I loved Ohio. On the drive home the sky was different shades of red, orange, pink, purple and blue.... all soft colors fading into eachother, and they made a nice stark contrast against the dark greens, bright yellows, and vibrant red hues of the changing leaves. It made me feel awake and vibrant. It is amazing how beauty and death are all intertwined in autumn.
I'm still considering dying my hair that bright ass red, although I'm still a chickenshit. It's going to take me ten years to actually get around to it.
Thinking about my schedule, I've decided that I hate tommorrow already.
