So wait, you can..

Cross post comments that you make on someone ELSE'S PROTECTED LJ, but I can't cross post my OWN fucking entry unless its public?

Yeah, that works LJ. I can link someone else's protected shit all over the web without their say, but I can't link my OWN FUCKING ENTRY?

this isn't going to last long - if it does, ElJay wont last long...

testing stuffz, [public

ikr. It posts the first bit of your comment as well, and a link.. I can see a lot of "Dude, so glad that STD test came back.... http://ljblowzlinkz.crap/ashdjahsdjhljh" and people on the FBz will be all "dirty whore..."

(holy hell, now its automatically converting URLs into links. gtfo)

So, if you space it out right, you can really fuck with someone even though they can't see the entry

I couldn't post a comment to facebook but then I don't have it set to automatically post anything.

I refuse to link my FB. I try so so hard to keep this as far away from my real name as possible, though most here know who I am, I am just paranoid.

I wonder if you can only link what I can... hm... give me 5 to turn off Twatter and see if you can Twat it again?

lol twitter.. -shakes head-

Howabout you do it the other way around? I don't have anything set to post anywhere so if you post a comment on my journal and it turns up on Twitter or Facebook even though it's friends only there is nothing controversial in my most recent post and pretty much everyone knows I use some iteration of mrs-ralph for various forums etc so it makes no difference to me.

Thanks for researching this further than I was willing to. It's the suck.

but I can't cross post my OWN fucking entry unless its public?

this was what was annoying me about the twitter/facebook posting applications I was finding. One of the accounts had to be public, because they'd share a feed rather than the application posting to both sources separately. It's not really related, but it reminded me of that old annoyance -.-
